Endorsement Process

2026 Endorsements

Building Power for Communities of Color endorses both ballot measures and candidates. We will be conducting an endorsement process for Governor, Portland City Council (Districts 3 and 4), Portland Auditor, and Multnomah County Commission (Chair and District 2) for the November general election. We do not anticipate an endorsement process for additional races due to capacity.

Sign up for our newsletter for updates on the endorsement process. Please note we will be using Oregon Future Lab’s Candidate Switchboard as a required part of our endorsement process.

Our endorsements for the Washington County Commission were were made in February. Two of our endorsed candidates, Nafisa Fai for Chair and Steve Callaway for Washington County District 4 have advanced to the November runoff and we will continue our support.
